Chocolate Museum

Museum dedicated to chocolate made by Chocolates Comes, chocolate artisans since 1870.

The Comes de Sueca artisanal chocolate factory-museum pays tribute to the artisanal manufacture of this delicious sweet. Following the traditional processes, for decades this purely Valencian factory has been responsible for maintaining it to this day. And this Museum allows the visitor to observe the process of making chocolate from the cocoa fruit to the chocolate as we consume it today. In the Museum, you can find all kinds of very ancient tools for making chocolate in the most primitive way, known as hand or stone chocolate.

In addition, you can also see the first cocoa roasters of which one is preserved and all the original tools used in the Comes factory since its foundation in 1870. The museum is completed with a library related to chocolate and a collection of photographs and documents related to cocoa. In the Valencian Community, it is the only museum, together with the Valor museum, that pays homage to cocoa, both museums with a long tradition dating back to their foundation.
